Production Pipeline
From print queue to pack & ship — track every stage of production in real time.
Once an order is paid, it enters the production pipeline. PressOS tracks every stage — from printing films to shipping the final package.
What it replaces
Paper lists, whiteboards, group texts asking "what's next?", and the mental load of remembering which orders are where.
The stages
1. Print Queue
All pending DTF prints organized by priority and due date. Assign films to specific printers and operators.
2. Film QC
Quality-check printed films before they hit the press. Catch bleeds, misprints, or color issues. Flag for reprint before wasting blanks.
3. Pressing
Track which transfers are on which heat press, operated by whom. Mark complete when done — the order automatically advances.
4. Fulfillment (Pack & Ship)
Package orders, print shipping labels through Shippo, add tracking numbers. Customer gets notified automatically.
Auto-advancing stages
You don't need to manually move orders between stages. When a gang sheet prints, the order moves to Film QC. When QC passes, it moves to Pressing. When pressing completes, it moves to Fulfillment.
If something fails QC, flag it for reprint — the system knows.
Blank tracking
Purchase orders for garments tie directly to production orders. Track:
- Need to order — blanks not yet purchased
- Ordered — PO submitted to SanMar
- Received — arrived at your shop
- In stock — ready for pressing
The Hub brings it all together
The Production Hub (your dashboard) shows everything across all stages in one view. Status groups tell you what to act on now, what's waiting, and what's in progress.
