Setting Up Your Storefront

Build your online store from scratch with the drag-and-drop Site Builder — go live in an afternoon.

This guide walks you through building your storefront from a blank page to a live online store. You'll have a professional site with products, a shopping cart, and checkout working by the end.

Step 1: Open the Site Builder

In your sidebar, click Site Builder (under PodOS). You'll see the visual editor with a blank canvas or your default template.

Step 2: Set your brand

Click the Theme tab in the editor:

  1. Upload your logo — it appears in the header and footer
  2. Set your accent color — buttons, links, and highlights use this
  3. Choose theme mode — light, dark, or match the customer's device
  4. Add a tagline — appears under your shop name

Step 3: Build your homepage

Drag sections from the left panel onto your canvas. A good starting homepage looks like:

  1. Hero Banner or Image Hero — big headline, one sentence about what you do, and a "Shop Now" button
  2. How It Works — 3-4 steps showing your process (e.g., "Upload artwork → We print → You receive")
  3. Featured Products — showcase your best sellers or most popular items
  4. Testimonials — customer quotes (if you have them)
  5. CTA Banner — final call to action ("Ready to order? Start here.")

Tip: You can always rearrange sections later. Just drag them up or down.

Step 4: Add your products

Before your storefront can sell anything, add products:

  1. Go to Products in your sidebar
  2. Click Add Product
  3. Choose from SanMar catalog (auto-fills details) or create a custom product
  4. Set your retail pricing, images, and description
  5. Mark as Published so it appears on your storefront

Step 5: Configure shipping

Go to PodOS → Settings → Shipping:

  • Flat rate — one price for all orders (e.g., $7.99)
  • Free over threshold — free shipping on orders above $X
  • Local pickup — customers pick up from your shop
  • Shippo integration — live carrier rates (USPS, UPS, FedEx)

Step 6: Set up a checkout test

Before going live, place a test order yourself:

  1. Click Preview in the Site Builder to see your live site
  2. Add a product to cart
  3. Go through checkout (use Square's test card if available)
  4. Confirm the order appears in your Production Hub

Step 7: Publish

When you're happy with how everything looks:

  1. Click Publish in the Site Builder
  2. Your storefront is live immediately

Step 8: Connect your domain (optional)

Go to PodOS → Settings → Domain:

  1. Enter your domain (e.g., inkciytdtf.com)
  2. Follow the DNS instructions to point your domain to PressOS
  3. Once connected, customers visit your domain directly

You're live!

Your storefront is ready for customers. Orders placed here flow directly into your production pipeline — no re-entry needed.
