How does the transaction fee work?
When your customer pays with a card through Square, our app fee (5% Free / 3% Pro) is automatically deducted from the payment. You never see a separate bill from us.
What about cash or check payments?
Cash and check payments are a Pro feature. On the Free plan, you can only record card payments via Square. Pro lets you record cash, check, bank transfer, and other payment methods.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrade to Pro instantly from your dashboard. Downgrade anytime — you keep all your data, just some Pro features become unavailable until you resubscribe.
What happens to my custom domain if I downgrade?
Your domain configuration is preserved but visitors are redirected to your PressOS subdomain. Re-upgrade and your custom domain works again immediately.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No. Both plans are month-to-month with no contracts. Free has no cost at all. Pro bills monthly and you can cancel anytime.
How many team members can I add?
Free accounts can have up to 2 team members (including the owner). Pro gives you unlimited members with full role-based permissions.
